We rely on the generous support of individuals, and organisations who share in our mission vision and values
Our history – at the forefront of innovation and quality.
In 1959 the NSW Lutheran Women’s League agreed to invest in a ‘Rest Home’ in Albury, providing much needed care services in the community.

Over the years we have continued to evolve our services and accommodation, always ensuring a consistently high standard of care, with ongoing education and training across all areas of the organisation.
As leaders in regional aged care, our management team maintain a consistent representation in the relevant Industry body.

Testimonials
“You have an amazing team at Emily Gardens, the comments with regards to Dad, how they treated and looked after him, the interaction between them and Dad, assistance that was continually offered to us was just outstanding.”

“I just wanted to say a special thankyou in relation to the excellent work you did in relation to the above matter. In typical fashion when I am dealing with such matters have come expect interminable delays and a general sense of indifference and lack of a sense of urgency on the part of the administration in Nursing Homes, Not this time – from the moment I spoke to you I felt you had empathy and understanding and I was impressed with the efficiency and rapidity with which you dealt with the matter. Your friendly and courteous service was much appreciated”

“Thank you, Lutheran staff for all the support and care that has been given to John and Val. We couldn’t have done it without the support as long as we did.”

“Thank you Lutheran for acceptin g Margaret onto a package, Lutheran should be very proud of their care services, for going over & above what is expected from a package, the effort everyone has put into trying to help Margaret stay at home.”
Bronwyn, social worker
“Your program is so fantastic – you & the team have made such a monumental difference to the lives of my clients. The STRC has given hope & increased confidence, that in these times is a huge gift.”
Judy, RN Aged Care Assessor
“I have been with Lutheran since the commencement of home care 27 years ago.
What do I like about my job? The main thing is the elderly and not so elderly people I get to meet and their families. Being able to make their lives easier by coordinating services that suit their needs. Seeing the continuous growth and support that Lutheran provides for our local community.
Being able to help people in their hour of need. Knowing that I have been able to build a rapport with most people, even some of the not s o easy going.
The staff that have supported me over the years to make my job easy, and the opportunity Lutheran has given me to take on this role.”
Vickie, Plunkett Area Coordinator
“Our thanks and love for the way that your staff looked after our mother. She was treated with such dignity and respect for over 3 years that she was in your care. We are all better for the time our mother was in the care of your facility and staff.
Staff would pop in to say hi on their way off a shift onto a shift and also give us a little boost. That caring nature which was shown to us all is not something you learn on the job, it’s the way you are and this tells us that you have got it right in the type of staff you employ for the facility. ”

“I am writing to express the gratitude I fell at the wonderful care received by my Uncle at Dellacourt during his time there.
He had received care from Lutheran Community Care before going to Dellacourt and first was very hesitant to have strangers going into his home, but soon looked forward to the Carers calling in.
When he needed a higher level of care I looked at all of the available facilities in the Albury area, as that is where he indicated he would like to continue living and he agreed to try Dellacourt and although reluctant to lose his independence agreed to take a room when one was offered.
I cannot praise highly enough everyone involved in his care, holistically in my view there is not a better service in the area. Please pass on my thanks to your team. ”

“Hello Wendy,
We visit a number of aged care facilities and none looks after their Volunteers as well as you do. The atmosphere among the other volunteers and staff is always welcoming and relaxed. I am writing to thank the care team members , nurses and managers for everything you did for me over the last 2 months of my sister being in your care and especially the last days.
I thank you for the clear medical information given to me at this time, the care and support. Because of your help and information, I understood what was happening for my sister. This was calming and meant I could focus on giving her all my love and care as I wished to do. I could brush my sister’s hair and talk to her and tell her how much I loved her and how beautiful she is.
Thank you seems inadequate when you all helped me so much. ”
